Ministerial Visit to the Development Bank of Seychelles

Minister Maurice Loustau-Lalanne conducted his first visit to the Development Bank of Seychelles on Tuesday 17^th July, 2018 since he took office earlier this year as the Minister for Finance, Trade, Investment and Economic Planning. 

Accompanied by his delegation which was comprised of Secretary of State in the Ministry of Finance, Trade, Investment and Economic Planning Mr. Patrick Payet, Principal Secretary for Finance, Mr Damien Thesee and other senior officers of the Ministry. 

Minister Loustau-Lalanne visited the Bank’s offices and met with the staff from various departments. Minister and his delegation was welcomed by the Deputy CEO of the Bank Ms Jean Preira and the Chairman of the Board of Directors for the Development Bank of Seychelles Ms Brenda Bastienne.

Upon his visit Minister Loustau-Lalanne discussed the challenges faced by the Bank and the progress that has been made upon the Bank’s 40 years of existence.
