VACANCY

Are you a responsible, motivated and reliable person?  We are seeking to fill the following vacant positions within the bank.

1.      LEGAL OFFICER

The Legal Officer will provide legal counsel to the Bank relating to internal and external matters involving the organisation.  The duties will include liaising with Lawyers, Notaries and other parties or institutions to ensure that legal documents are correctly drafted in order to protect the Bank’s interests. The incumbent will also represent the bank in the court of law and provide legal support services concerning all relevant matters.

Qualifications/Competencies/Experience

  • Degree in Law or Legal Studies plus 3 years related work experience
or
  • Diploma in Legal Studies plus 5 years in Legal/Banking field
  • Able to work independently, act with tact and discretion
  • Proficiency with Seychelles Laws

2.         IT MANAGER

The IT Manager will be responsible for the bank’s IT function and administer the computer and technology requirements of the bank by providing technology support and training to all staff.  The duties will include managing the deployment, monitoring, maintenance, development, upgrade, and support of all current IT network device systems, including Core banking system, Intranet, Websites, Servers, PCs, operating systems, databases, software applications, and peripherals.  The incumbent will manage the financial aspects of IT Section including purchasing, budgeting and budget reporting and overall ensure business continuity in all the IT services.

Qualifications/Competencies/Experience

·         Degree in Computer Science related field plus 3 years satisfactory related work experience;
·         Or, HND in a Computer Science related field plus at least 4  years relevant and satisfactory experience;
·         Industry Recognized Certification (s) added advantage

Experience required:
·         Programing concepts, and good analytical, problem solving and evaluative skills;
·         Database technologies. (Oracle, mysql, foxpro);
·         Computer networks lan/wan technologies;
·         Client operating systems (Win Xp, Win 7 and Win 10);
·         Server operating systems (Win 2003, Win 2008, Win 2012 and Win 2016, ubuntu);
·         Website design and content management systems Joomla;
·         Computer hardware and software.
